Returns the current Solana epoch and slot progress, together with a third-party network reference rate. This endpoint does not return rewards earned by an individual stake account or the MAVAN validator's yield.

Choose Mainnet or Devnet from the Base URL dropdown on the right before using Try It. Devnet is the Solana test environment.

No query parameters are required. The endpoint is currently accessible without an api-key header.

The response contains one object in data:

• currentEpoch: current epoch number on the selected network.
• slotIndex: slot position within the current epoch.
• slotsInEpoch: number of slots in the epoch.
• avgInflationRewardRate: a third-party network reference rate, returned as a number. The current implementation combines the provider's voting and block APY fields, so the name should not be interpreted as an inflation-only rate. A provider failure can return 0. It is not a MAVAN-specific yield or an account reward amount. Do not interpret it as a Devnet-specific yield. The value is a decimal fraction: 0.065 means 6.5%.

Calculate epoch progress by slots as slotIndex / slotsInEpoch. This ratio is not a precise estimate of time remaining in the epoch.

Use the epoch and slot fields for network progress. Do not use the reference rate to project a client's returns. For recorded account rewards, see Get Solana daily rewards stats.
