# Jito MEV rewards

MAVAN runs [jito-solana](https://github.com/jito-foundation/jito-solana) on its validator to give you automatic access to additional staking rewards.

MEV rewards are automatically transferred in SOL to your Solana Stake Account each epoch. Unlike native protocol-level staking rewards, MEV rewards are not automatically added to your staked balance and do not compound automatically.

To compound MEV rewards, regularly withdraw and re-stake them. Create a new Stake Account and fund it with the withdrawn rewards. Each time you do this, you add another Solana Stake Account.

Use the MAVAN UI or API to withdraw MEV rewards, re-stake your SOL, and merge multiple Stake Accounts into one larger account. Merging limits the number of accounts you need to manage while you compound your rewards.
